Fullmetal Alchemist has been my favorite anime since I saw it, which means almost three years by now. I've drawn many fanart pictures of Ed Elric (this is the fifteenth), but it's only now that I feel I've done him justice in my own style.

Katherine and I have been rewatching FMA (more or less, this is my fifth time); one night as we were doing so, I felt inspired to draw Ed. I haven't tried in about a year, and I've gotten a lot better since then. However, converting Ed into my style has always been a challenge...maybe because my style was born partially from the FMA anime style. But this time...somehow, I succeeded. X3

If you understand the title and why the background is a fire gradient, YOU ARE AWESOME. =D

I love this. <3 That's really all I can say. IVAN IS PROUD.
